PEACE IN UKRAINE NOW!
marliesterborg@gmail.com Now the payments for Ukrianian soldiers are under pressure, as of 1 November, and the civilian heating system has deteriorated severely the Ukrainians must long for Peace. In the West it is high time for some creative thinking. Resetting our military mindset creates room for a ceasefire and peace. With 20km broad no-mans land on both sides of present lines, monitored by drones and boots on the ground - on both sides - by members of UN Peacekeeping. With contributions of the UN Securiry Council's members: UK, France, China, Pakistan, Algeria and Denmark and commanded by the 4 star Ukrainian General Valerii Zaluzhnyi. He pushed back the inItIal Russian attack. Then he advocated a defensive posture and Zelensky, - who wanted to attack Kursk and deepstrike Russian targets including Triad nuclear bombers- dismissed him and appointed him Ambassador to London. This General speaks both Ukrainian, Russian and English, knows the ground and local culture, and has the experience and moral stature to head the UN Peace Corps on the ground. The Security Council member USA would be monitorng the skies. The arrest warrant ot Putin can be cancelled by the UN. It is uncertain that banks can and will transfer the assets of Putin to who? and on which grounds? A quicker solution is to thaw these assets and at the same time set up a UN Fund for the Ukraine people, headed by prince Harry and the Dutch princess Laurentien. A well oganised non-corruptible fund for the war widows, invalids, demobilised veterans, the homeless and the deprived farmers. Putin and Trump and other wealthy individuals would be invited to donate a substantial amount to this fund. A good location for a first informal round of relaxed talks could be Windsor Castle. The hurdle of Ukrainian membership of NATO could be solved if members who are also in the Security Councuil - UK , Denmark France and US - would unilaterally and individually declare that they will oppose NATO membership for Ukraine, knowing that by this they can bring peace to the tormented Ukrainian people.
