BEREND TER BORG

Berend ter Borg is a writer located in Berlin. He grew up in the family ter Borg living in the Netherlands. He participates in the website of his father professor Meerten ter Borg with whom he wrote two philosophical books. 'Zingeving als Machtsmiddel - 'Sense Giving as Instrument of Power'..... and 'Zineconomie'- 'Sense giving in Economy.' He studied history, English and German literature at Leiden, London Heidelberg and Virginia USA. He studied creative writing in IOWA. He wrote articles on Nietzsche and Rilke. In the USA he taught English and German
Recently he has turned to writing fiction figuring persons drawn from the Western cultural tradition. After ample research he encompasses his insights into short stories. Characters are taken from History, Classical literature and the Bible. Examples shown below are are Dadelus and Icasus, Kassandra, Cyrus and Isiaah. Thus, while respecting his own literary tradition, he aims to give it new meaning and a noivel turning.
